Catherine began her architectural education in 2009 at the University of Ulster in Northern Ireland, before completing her Master’s studies at the Manchester School of Art and later achieving her Part III at the University of Westminster.
Over the past decade, she has built experience across a variety of international contexts, working in China, England, and Northern Ireland. Her career includes nine years at Zaha Hadid Architects in London, where she contributed to a wide mix of commercial, cultural, and urban projects.
Catherine’s work is shaped by a strong interest in residential innovation, large-scale development, and design strategies that respond to complex constraints. Key projects she has contributed to include Mercury Tower in Malta, the Odesa Expo 2030 bid for Ukraine, and the Dnipro Metro Stations.
Jung’s architectural journey began in 2006 at Yonsei University in Seoul, before continuing her professional studies with Part 2 at Oxford Brookes University and Part 3 at the Bartlett School of Architecture.
She has developed an international portfolio through roles in South Korea, Qatar, and the UK. Jung started her career at Gehry Technologies (now Trimble Consulting) and later spent nine years at Zaha Hadid Architects in London, contributing to a wide range of cultural and commercial projects.
Her expertise and interests includes design, BIM, and conservation. Key projects she has worked on include the Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul, the National Museum of Qatar, and Mercury Tower in Malta.
